The Yamaha SY-20
I like to think of this as the Yamaha version of the JEN SX-1000. Now, of course, it wasn’t meant to compete with the JEN, but it’s got some of the same features. ANYWAYS, the SY-20 was sold only in Japan as an educational instrument. They are very hard to come by now a days, but I believe they are worth picking up, despite their steep price. You could probably pick them up in Japan for cheaper. In the states, I have seen them go for roughly $800.
